Local Initiatives

 

Find it in Sandwell

We are a keen supporter of 'find it in sandwell' - Sandwell's online network - and fully endorse their aims to build a bigger, brighter, greener, local economy.                      Sandwell LIFTCo has been a major contributor to the following events that have been arranged by this organisation: 

• Breakfast clubs
• Supply Sandwell enterprise event
• Maximising prosperity and employment through community benefit clauses
• Targeted recruitment and training
• Meet the architect
• Sandwell construction enterprise event

 

Think Local Construction    

We have also engaged with 'Think Local Construction', which is a free service provided by Sandwell Council to place permanent and temporary local staff with suitable employers in the construction industry.  We have developed good working relationships between Think Local Construction and our construction partners to enhance opportunities and in return engage in a training development plan.
